your least expensive fix is to pull the head and find a local machine shop (that has a good reputation) and replace everything with stock parts. However you will find that after market parts are not that much more expensive. If you do SS valves and different springs and retainers your head setup could be good to 9,500RPM with that said when and if you do the bottom end the head will be ready for it. let me know if you have more specific questions. BTW about pricing call different machine shops in your area. since I don't live where you live pricing could be different. hope that helps

grand600, you say to put in different springs and retainers so i could rev up to 9500rpm.
I've only heard of NA guys doing this.
Would it be beneficial for a JRSC application like mine?
